In Windows 7, the functionality of the library has been introduced which is really a useful way to organize your files . Libraries can combine files from many different files and show them under a single unified view. In Windows 10, the element is missing by default Libraries in the navigation pane. If you use libraries frequently, you may want to make them visible as in Windows 7. Here are the instructions to enable them to Windows 10.
To enable libraries in Windows 10 file Explorer, do the following:
- Open file Explorer
Tip :. You can open files Explorer 'This PC' instead of home and reassign shortcut keys Win + E to make it more like Windows 7. See this article for how to do:
open this PC instead home in Windows 10 with a shortcut and shortcuts. - In the left pane, right-click the empty space to open the context menu
- Tick the item Libraries :.
Libraries. item will appear in the navigation pane
instead of adding the libraries in the navigation pane, you can add libraries directly in the host file:
See how you can do so here: How to add libraries in the host file in Windows 10.
again, you can open libraries from the Run dialog box with a shell command. Press Win + R shortcut keys and type in the Run dialog box the following:
shell :. Libraries
The command above is a special shell command that will open the Libraries folder directly
This is it.
