Today, Microsoft announced that they will deploy changes to Cortana so that only Bing and Microsoft Edge can be used for the use of its features in Windows 10. Microsoft will prohibit redirection bar search box tasks to Google or any other engine and the Microsoft Edge launch exclusively for display more details about the search. The research will be redirected to Bing and EDGE for those customized to use Google search in Firefox or Chrome.

Unfortunately, as Windows 10 has increased the adoption and usage, we have seen some software bypass Windows design 10 and redirect you to find suppliers that were not designed to work with Cortana. The result is a compromised experience that is less reliable and predictable. The continuity of these types of scenarios completion tasks is disrupted if Cortana can not depend on Bing as a search engine and Microsoft Edge as the browser.
The changes will affect all users without installing additional patches or updates. They will be deployed via server-side backend Cortana.
This movement allows Microsoft to increase revenue for your search engine and the use of both, Bing and Edge browser.
