A couple of screenshots have appeared online, featuring new updates to the value Windows 10 default browser, Microsoft Edge. Let's see what we can expect in October, when the update known as "Threshold 2" gets deployed incorporating the changes after Windows 10 RTM build 10240.
Microsoft Edge is the new browser that Microsoft created to replace the old Internet Explorer. Microsoft Edge is designed to be faster and support all modern web standards. In Windows 10 build 10551, Edge got the ability to sync bookmarks and reading list between your Windows devices. This feature will be welcomed by all users who use a Microsoft account. It is one of the features requested by insiders.
The second change is the possibility of opening a new browser window Edge using the button on the taskbar. The user can click the middle running instance of the browser on the taskbar to open a new window.
Unlike desktop applications, most universal applications, with the exception of some applications such as calculator and Edge can not have multiple instances running (via Ithome ).
