Fix search does not work in Windows Start Menu 10 -

Several of Windows 10 users face this unexpected behavior of Windows 10 that is that during the search in the Start menu search return no results. To correct search in the Start menu in Windows 10, you must do the following.

1. Open Registry Editor.
2. Navigate to the following registry key:

   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionExplorerFolderTypes{ef87b4cb-f2ce-4785-8658-4ca6c63e38c6}TopViews

3. Here, delete the subkey named 00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000 {} .
4. If you are using Windows 10 64-bit, remove also the following subkey:

   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREWow6432NodeMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionExplor‌erFolderTypes{ef87b4cb-f2ce-4785-8658-4ca6c63e38c6}TopViews{00000000-0000-000‌0-0000-000000000000}

   

5. Restart Windows 10.
