In both the Start menu and the Start screen, you can use the search for an application or file. So the first method, we will see to open the command prompt in Windows 10 is from the search results.
Open the Windows command prompt using the search
Open the Start menu or switch to the home screen by pressing the "Win" on keyboard. Start typing "cmd.exe" :.
Click cmd.exe in the search results or just press Enter to run the command prompt
Open command quickly using Win + X menu ( the power) user
This is one of the most convenient ways to open the command prompt in Windows 10 from Windows 8, Microsoft has set up a user menu with power, contains many useful elements such as Control Panel, network and so on. It also contains the element "Command Prompt" which is exactly what we need.
To access this menu in Windows 10, press Win + X keys together on the keyboard.

This is my favorite way I prefer to work with the keyboard. Press Win + R keys together on the keyboard and type the following command in the Run box :.

Run the command prompt directly from the Explorer
Open a folder in the file browser . Hold the Shift key and right click on an empty space in a directory. In the context menu, you will see the "Open command here" element.
It will open a new instance command prompt in the current folder.
Alternatively you can type cmd directly into the address bar and press Enter. It will also open the command prompt in the current folder:

Using the new Start menu in Windows 10, you can open the command prompt by accessing its shortcut. Open the Start menu, click on "All Applications" and scroll down to the "Windows System" folder. You will find the "Command Prompt".
